with表示伴隨狀態時,作“以與…同樣的方曏〔程度,比率〕”解。可接“名詞+動詞不定式”“名詞+現在分詞”“名詞+過去分詞”。
with表示比較時作“同…相比”“與…平行”解。
with可以用來表示虛擬語氣,意思是“如果,假如”。用於詩歌或民謠的副歌、曡句中, with常無實際含意。
