• demand用作及物動詞,作“要求”解時,其主語通常爲人,賓語可以是名詞、代詞、帶to的動詞不定式或that從句; 作“需要”解時,其主語通常爲事〔物〕,賓語一般是“時間”“耐心”等抽象名詞; 作“查問”解時,可接名詞、wh-從句,也可引出直接引語。demand用作不及物動詞時常與介詞for連用,表示“要求”。
