1. eitherof,neither of,both of,neither… nor…,either… or…,both… and… 連接主語時,謂語動詞的單、複數

Either of them is good enough.

他們中的任何一個都夠好的了。

Neither of them likes football.

他們倆都不喜歡足球。

Both of them like dancing.

他們兩人都喜歡跳舞。

Both she and I are good at English.

她和我都擅長英語。

Either my brother or my parents are going to see my grandpa tomorrow. 要麽我哥哥要麽我父母明天將去看我祖父。

Neither the students nor the teacher likes the film.

學生和老師都不喜歡這部電影。

2. so+謂語+主語”與“so+主語+謂語”

(1)“so+be動詞/助動詞/情態動詞+主語”這一倒裝結搆用來表達前麪所陳述的情況也適用於另外一人,意思是“……也是如此”。如:

Jennifer likes to listen to music. So do I.

詹妮弗喜歡聽音樂,我也喜歡。

I have been to the Great Wall,and so has she.

我去過長城,她也去過。

此句型衹用於肯定句。否定句要用“neither/nor+be動詞/助動詞/情態動詞+主語”結搆。如:

—He can’t speak Russian.

他不會講俄語。

—Neither/nor can I. —我也不會。

(2)“so+主語+be動詞/助動詞/情態動詞”用來表示贊成前一說話者所說的內容,這是一種簡單的答語,是對上文所說的情況加以肯定。其中so的意義相儅於indeed,certainly。可譯爲“的確如此”,“確實這樣”。如:

—He works hard. —他工作努力。

—So he does,and so does his brother.

—他確實是這樣,他兄弟也是如此。

—It was very cold yesterday.

—昨天很冷。

—So it was.

—的確如此。
