用法辨析
- guarantee的意思是“保证,担保”,指对货物质量、人的品质或所承担义务的保证,也可表示担保某事必然会出现某种结果,含有不容置疑的意味。
- guarantee用作及物动词,后可接名词、代词、动词不定式或由that或疑问词引导的从句作宾语; 也可接双宾语; 还可接以动词不定式充当补足语的复合宾语。可用于被动结构。
- guarantee作名词时,指“保证”或“接受保证的人”,而guaranty指“作保”事实,也指“保证”,“保证书”。guarantee在使用上比guaranty来的普遍;
