  • fact作“事實”解時是可數名詞,作“真實情況”解時,是不可數名詞。fact引申可表示“論據,細節”等。
  • fact後常接一個同位語從句,在“ v. +the fact that-clause”結搆中, the fact常可省略,而衹賸下“ v. +that-clause”。

  • 兩者區別在於:
  • 1.fact的意思是“事實”,以區別於想象或虛搆的事物。例如:

  • 2.event也可指日常小事,但主要指重要的事件(國家的、社會的、邊界的等)。例如:
